About the Program

Systemic Leadership (QTL- Qualitative Transformational Leadership©) by Eng. Mohammad Albuzaid upgrades how strategy, KPIs, incentives, culture, and processes interact to produce reliable, compounding results.

Simple vs. complex (restaurant story): dining alone is simple—you order and eat. With ten people, coordination becomes essential. If a “big boss” orders for everyone without input, waste rises. Transformational leadership applies systems thinking to design loops, alignment, and learning that turn complexity into advantage.

Systemic Leadership — Levels 1–4

Level 1 — Foundations

  • Systemic vs. linear thinking; events → patterns → mental models.
  • Feedback loops and delays; leverage points.
  • Culture basics: symbols, stories, assumptions that drive behavior.
  • Integrity as system property; KPIQC© essentials to avoid metric traps.

Level 2 — Applied Design

  • Operating rhythms and governance cadence.
  • SSX© root-pattern analysis; safe-to-fail pilots.
  • Balanced Scorecards across strategy–execution–learning.
  • Team experiments and cross-pollination.

Level 3 — Scaling & Culture

  • Subcultures and interfaces; incentives and decision rights.
  • Integrity mechanisms: transparency & accountability cycles.
  • Safety & reliability (SSL playbook).
  • Enterprise OKR/Scorecard alignment and KPIQC© governance.

Level 4 — Institutionalization

  • System redesign for durable performance and compounding effects.
  • Capability academies; internal faculty and coaching systems.
  • Long-cycle learning; innovation portfolio & de-biasing loops.
  • Leadership transitions and continuity architectures.

QTL — Four Perspectives

1) Systems Dynamics

  • Systemic vs. linear thinking (restaurant illustration).
  • Feedback loops and delays; leverage points.
  • Events → patterns → mental models.
  • Performance–System–Leadership linkages.

2) Organizational Culture

  • Culture as the invisible hand; stories & symbols.
  • Subcultures, interfaces, incentives & decision rights.
  • Impact on performance; functional distribution.

3) Corporate Integrity

  • Integrity as a system property; trust & credibility cycles.
  • Hidden breaches; ethics in decisions.
  • Transparency & accountability systems; SSX© reflections.

4) Innovative Mindset

  • Curiosity; question the status quo.
  • Experimentation & safe-to-fail pilots; learning from failures.
  • Cross-pollination; innovation as continuous adaptation.
