The nAnti-KPIs & pAnti-KPIs Spectrum

Anti-KPIs are metrics that appear useful but harm systemic health.

Type Description Action
nAnti-KPIs (Negative) Indicators that encourage manipulation, fear, or short-termism. Detoxify and remove.
pAnti-KPIs (Positive) Sound indicators that become toxic when over-weighted or isolated. Re-balance and re-integrate.

Example: counting “number of reports” instead of “quality of insights” (nAnti-KPI); over-prioritizing “customer satisfaction” until it harms financial viability (pAnti-KPI).
